Dear friends, dear colleagues,

the Coronavirus pandemic has led to a great change in the everyday life of each of us, including amateur sports. 

Social and physical restrictions have put a strain on our ability to adapt, after more than a year and half from the beginning 

of this condition of forced limitation and confinement, we had to find a new balance, learning new habits, even with respect to sporting practice.

Phisycal activity, both individual and group, leads to connection with the other: the relationship between persons is 

one of the fundamental characteristics of sport. It offers the framework within everyone can express their subjectivity, 

nurturing a proactive attitude in facing challenges and difficulties.

Wheter you play sports for competion or for pleasure, sport is simply a “gym for life”.he competitive commitement can never ignore, in fact, the human values that are 

the basis of civil coexistence and that see their sublimation in sport. 

The lockdown situation has impacted and still impact today with the continuation of the health

emergency on the whole of humanity, in its entire condition, in every activity of mankind.

It was a historical, phasic event of global change and, as such, also for issues related to sport and 

mental activity in sport, we want to consider this whole story a simple “Pit Stop”.

It is with this understanding that we are proud to announce that in 2022, between 23 and 26 June, the “Baroque Town Cup” 

teams tournament will resume its path, reaching the milestone of its 14th edition.

The peculiar characteristics of the event will continue to be fair play and joyful and friendly partecipation, 

which will not lack the technical-competitive value, wich will allow you attend enjoyable and pleasant matches.

All summarized in the scenery of a rich and varied territory – the UNESCO HERITAGE architectural beauties 

upstream and one hundred miles of baeches downstream – where art, history, gastronomy and natural beauties come together to define on a human scale.

We look forward to once again being able to live up to your expectations. We will make every effort to not let you down.
